Allied Waste's Carelessness Returns

Holy cow, where am I going to start with this? These folks at +Allied Waste Services: A Republic Services Company are absolutely incredible. Just one week after I called +David Canepa on the phone to tell him that there were no more trash cans in the middle of the street, guess what: they're back!!! I have some photos so take a look and draw your own conclusions.

Trash brought back facing the wrong way.
Wheels need to be placed toward the curb.

Trash and recycling cans strewn all over the place.
Some are right in the middle of the street or in people's
driveways.

And here's 2 more cans, one almost into the
street. The other is in the center of my
neighbor's driveway.

Partisan division.

If anything, I’ve only been hearing about how Democrats are like this or Republicans are like that. Well it’s time to end that kind of talk. I’m not going to say I’m an innocent party here, I’m not in the least. I’ll do my best to keep a lid on some rants when they seem to express that all Republicans are the same in any particular post. Let’s face it, not all Republicans are like Ted Nugent or Wayne LaPierre as that crowd only makes up about 10% of the Republican base. Those that are like that tend to be the most vocal.

It’s really time to look at things in a less partisan prism and more in the sense of what’s getting solved. Why we seem to be regressing instead of progressing is actually very clear: We have more demagogues in Congress than problem solvers. At the same time there’s an alarming rise in voter complacency not seen since 1856, and partly because of how the Americans lost faith in government following the Watergate Scandal in 1974.

Lastly, everyone should know that there are Moderates still in the Republican Party.

California in Drought

I saw a flash on the news this morning: Governor Brown declares state drought emergency | abc7news.com. So looks as if +Jerry Brown has declared a state of emergency due to the low rainfall we've had so far and the recent wildfire outbreaks. I can't fault him for that as he's spot on. Well, let's try to conserve as much water as we can.

Lady Luck

This photo may be nearly 3 years old, but it has meaning. For the past 3 years, I have been dating the lady in this picture. Luck would have it that she’s sweet as sugar and the most amazing individual to have at my side. She’s been a real influence always keeping my enthusiasm in check so that I don’t end up doing something insane. One thing I do appreciate about her is that she’s so family oriented, which is handy given the fact that I still have an elderly grandma. Yeah, I think of myself as a family man, but it means more to have a partner with that same mentality.

What to bear in Mind for November 2014

someecards.com - And you would think that I was too busy to notice you and your incredible ideas?

someecards.com - Ugh...Now I remember why I shouldn't have voted Republican in 2010. Remember, let's vote Democrat in 2014, and get our lives back from these lunatics.

These cards both indicate the responsiveness of the +House Democrats+Senate Democrats and +Barack Obama, via +The White House, and the tonedeafness of the +House Republicans and +Senate GOP to the situation faced by the American Public. Let's face it, the +GOP  is out of touch with the rest of us and the +Democratic Party is trying to help. Think about this come November.

Share if you agree, and drop a like and/or follow, as well as a comment, on my Facebook Page and/or Twitter Feed if there's more that we can do to make our lives easier without feeling like we're asking for a handout. It's up to us to shape the direction of this country, and that is why +Barack Obama is absolutely right in saying that: "There is no Red States of America or Blue States of America, there is the United States of America." His point: we're not Democrats or Republicans, we're Americans, first and foremost. We love our country more than anything, and it's time to take it in a new direction. That was the message we sent back in 2006 and 2008, and again in 2012.

Arson at the Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco

This is too nuts. For what reason would there be to commit arson on the Consulate General of China in San Francisco? To intimidate the communist government into democratizing? Yeah, good thinking...not! That'll happen when the communist state is pressured from inside by the Chinese people themselves. In any case, there's no reason to do this in my eyes, at all! This is only going to give President +Barack Obama and Secretary John Kerry a whole new unnecessary diplomatic headache. My hope is that they find the individual responsible for this act, and that they're arrested soon by the +SFPD and the +Federal Bureau of Investigation. This kind of act is a complete violation of state sovereignty.

I saw the latest update from the +The Associated Press, about the investigation thus far.

The Right-Wings unsustainable lie campaign about President Obama/government inaction

I don't know how to start this other than saying that the +GOP's lies have caught up with them and less of the American people find them trustworthy than they do with the +Democratic Party.

Here's why I'm getting more pissed off than ever with the +Republicans. They have not been governing at all since 1999. They've wasted more time on political sideshows than anything else. Their reason, to destroy the +Democrats so that they retain permanent political power. While it was successful during the time between 2001-7 ( +George W. Bush's first six years in office), it lost traction around late 2005 and resulted in the Democratic Victory of 2006. From 2007-9 the Republican Party spent more time defending their actions and attempting to use racism as a ploy to keep power in 2008. Look how that turned out: +Barack Obama won by a huge landslide over +John McCain, 365-173. Obama's victory took states that had not voted Democratic since either 1964 (Indiana, Virginia), 1976 (North Carolina), or 1992 (Colorado), along with the traditional swing-states (Ohio, Florida, Nevada, Iowa, etc.).

Since Obama's been in +The White House, he's been subjected to all kinds of racially charged commentary, and not just by +Fox News, and other elements on the right. He's also been the target of racism by ordinary Americans, as I've seen on +Facebook+ Fan Page and +Twitter.

Now as for the Right-wing's campaign of lies against him, as in blaming him for the shutdown, or only being representative of the Black community's agenda of shoving equality under the law, are part of a sustained effort to demonize him as the "other" and to use him as way of explaining the reason to the American Public why nothing's gotten done. In addition to being called the president of the gay agenda, Obama's had to plow through the muck while still barreling ahead. Additionally, they're starting a campaign of harassment against the black community in the form of voter Id laws as a means of assuring their own political victories (through election fraud) and keeping the blacks from exercising their rights as full American citizens.

However, what's good to see is that their lies are catching up with them, from Benghazi to Voter fraud. In fact, in an article on +PoliticusUSA (Ted Cruz Tells A Lie So Big Even Jonathan Karl Can't Let It Pass), I believe that it explains the situation quite clearly. This whole set of lies, one after another, is pissing me as well as all other Americans off. It should be a call to action.
